I don't want to steal anybody's thunder--but I wanted to post this video because it's awesome! Strong work by FishEye Channel.

My coworkers heard me mumbling the same thing while I watched it .... "paddle, paddle, paddle.    oh, no!"

   I loved the fast forwar of everyone going out.  Way cool!

Hopefully somebody can learn something from watching the last few minutes of that video.

Watch that one dude in the white yak get pulled onto shore, then just sit there in his yak. Not only does he get crushed by the next incoming wave, he also fucked off the guy coming in behind him.

When you hit the beach in surf like that you need to hit it and keep moving like you're storming the friggin' beach at Normandy.

That whole landing debacle could've been recorded and shown as many examples of what not to do. We saw many rods snapped and just about everyone who I saw try to bail out of their yak early got caught in some sort of leash or in their gear.

Mad props to the two cats in the video helping people land, and to Andy and DP who were helping people later. They saved MANY people from yard sales.

Hahah! I must have saved five to six different dudes from loosing all there shit. Oh boy was I tired that evening!
