I think I've only attended to 2 tournaments in the past 10 years and Ricci, you won them both! I am wildly impressed!!! There was no luck to it, just smart fishing.  Having your family and friends there plus putting the regional (SAC) slam on the SLO Slam, well that makes it an even better story.  I waited a few hours at the A Hull campsite and finally had to split for the long drive home...sorry I missed you.  CONGRATS on the great win man and many more!

Ryan, as good as it gets!  You did a sensational job of hosting 100+ of your closest fishing buddies .  Looking forward to returning next year with team Ship of Fools.  Thanks for all Ryan and to everyone else who welcomed us like brothers.  The SLO kayak fishing community is a generous one!

man o man, what a tournament. Congrats again to my cuss Ricci for taking first place. Nice to see the chavez name on top.. and also congrats to my dad for taking 7th... for his first time on a kayak in the ocean as well as mine, he did a great job.. awesome people all around, having a great time is what its all about. Special thanks go out to the two guys helping everyone out of the water due to crazy waves breaking on the shore during our return to the beach.. if not for them i think there would have been plenty of casualties.. cant wait till next years cs3.. but first is berryessa salmon slam so i can defend my title.. fish on..
