MBF/FnC 8/31 Port of Sac - LAST CHANCE TO GET YOUR RAFFLE TICKETS

I was given an idea to help out another NCKA member Gino who recently lost his brother and need some help to get his family to the funeral next week. So i know its short notice but here's what I am proposing.

A MBF FnC at the Port of Sac. $20 to get in on the MBF and winner splits the pot with Gino.

We can also do a PIF type of raffle and tickets are $10 each. If anyone has some stuff they would like to donate please post it on here and bring it to the hook up. All money from the raffle will be donated to Gino and his family.

I will be bringing fish tacos and BBQ for anyone who needs it to cook some dogs, burgers, or fish. We cam chill a little after we get off the water. If anyone else would like to bring some stuff for a POTLUCK (wemarian where you at) feel free.

If anyone would like to help me on shore with checkin let me know please.

Some rules

- Only NCKA members, family, & friends able to join in on the MBF.

- I know we have a couple of NCKA member who do not have yaks or are injured and can not paddle right now so for this tourney NCKA members who fall in this category will be aloud to fish from shore.

- fishing times are 6am-12pm

- must get a wristband the morning of event to be eligible for MBF

- scoring of all fish will begin at 11am and end at 12:30pm sharp and will be up above the launch.

- winner announced and raffle will begin at 1pm near the launch area.

- CPR is encouraged but not mandatory and no bonus points will be awarded.

- wrist band must be in any CPR photos brought in for scoring.

- only 3 fish can be scored by an angler. (Any species)

Scoring - 3 best fish

Kokanee = 10 pts/in
Sturgeon = 3.75 pts/in
Lake (Mackinaw) Trout = 6 pts/in
Steelhead = 6 pts/in
Panfish = 12.5 pts/in
Smallmouth = 10 pts/in
Spotted Bass = 9 pts/in
Catfish = 6 pts/in
Largemouth = 8 pts/in
Trout = 7.75 pts/in
Salmon = 5 pts/in
Striped Bass = 5.5 pts/in

I'll be working... One of the few Saturdays I do... Be careful out there... Flip it to Sunday and I'll be able to come... Even Monday 'cause I'll have that off too...

Great idea James! Gino is one of the nicest guys I've met in the club. I have 25: 10 - 2oz jig heads for the winner and 3 sets of 5 - 2oz jig heads for the PIF raffle (assorted colors).

I don't know if I'll be able to make it, our daughter should be arriving with the next few weeks.

I might have to work, but I'll donate a scotty bait board to the raffle.

I will be donating a never used Penn Jigmaster reel spooled with 30# maxima.  I will be adding more as I go through stuff.
