Do you use a clip/swivel, or do you tie your line directly to the wire eye on the weight?
1st Place in a private tournament I did not invite anyone else to be in. (and I barely squeaked out a victory)

I've had a crosslock open after beating my jig on the rocks more than once, straight tie for me.

Straight tie onto the lure eye, and re-tie often as the knot gets beat up from bouncing on rocks.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

I've been using duo lock snaps for years and always use them.  I only buy the heavy wire ones inside the blue and white plastic bags at FW.  I can't remember the brand, just look for higher priced ones.
The cheaper ones will fail on you.  I have used them on 16 oz diamond bars without any failure for years and years when deep water RF was still open.  My last trip was Albion and they worked great (pic below).  A 2 oz. diamond bar and a 1.5 oz swimbait jig were my go to lures that day.  I was fortunate to get limits in about 2 hours.  I like the ease of changing lures.

Duo locks. Never had one fail and I pre tie all my leaders before I get on the water. Easy to snap a new swimbait back on. Landed my 28lb salmon with one and no failures to date.

I tie flourocarbon leader to the jig head and attach a barrel swivel about 3 feet up.  I attach that to the swivel snap at the end of my main line.  I also usually add a dropper loop on the leader to attach a shrimp fly or a zoom fluke.  That way I'm catching lings and halis (in theory) on the swimbait and rockfish on the dropper and it's still easy to switch out rigs.

duolocks.  I have even caught a small black on a shimpfly duolock left open after I took off the shrimpfly.

I think I might give the Duo Lock a try, then switch to the straight tie method.

Hey Naokiman, are you up for a 4 Mile launch this Sunday?

I definitely want to hit 4 mile with you.  Thanks for the offer!  Not sure if I can do tomorrow though.  I'll need to get a few things in order.  Are you headed up there either way?  What time?

I am def. hitting it tomorrow. Probably a little later than usual but with the flat conditions I am not worried. I am going to get there at 8-815 am.

Change of plans. Wife's shift at hospital got adjusted, so I am hitting it a little earlier. 630 - 645

I'm not gonna be able to make it either way tomorrow but will shoot to get out there with you before too long.  Good luck and report back!
