Well the wife and I went and bought a couple of Tarpon100's today to be able to go out nearshore fishing in the Monterey Bay Area. She is so exited about fishing we are going out in the morning.

Wish us luck!

Good Luck to both of you!

Keep your lady warm and dry. And put her on fish. Do these things and you will get out a lot :smt004

Not to be a killjoy, but make sure you have PFDs, wetsuits, and radios.

Yep got all the gear except the radios and we are going out right off MBK to fish. Not going to venture far on our first trip.

Just be careful because I'd hate for your first trip to be your last.  A radio is arguably the most important safety item one can have.

Well about 4 hours on the water with no fish to show for it but had a great time.
Alicia did hook on to some thing that was dragging her for about 10 min but she broke the line.
