Shelter Cove hog hunt 7/9

The hogs are still biting at the Cove.  The biggest today was 42lbs.  My biggest of 6 today was ~25lbs.  They have thick shoulders and like to make long runs up to a 100yards.

I will be launching brite and early tomorrow.  Their should be a fleet of yaks tomorrow.  There was an unknown blue Hobie.  He said he got one.  I don't know if he got his second one.

We averaged about 2.5 salmon/doobie.

The slaying continues. Nice job. I would be there tomorrow if work wasn't in the way.

Damn... I vote to move GS8 to this same time next year, but I bet the locals wouldn't like it.

One old local guy told me that July and August are the best months to target all the species.
