If I catch salmon on Thursday, I will be bringing salmon with pancetta  mini brouchettes. I will throw $20 at the pig too. That last one was the bomb.  :smt003

Yes the camping is pricey, but its the only place around the harbor. There is another spot, but you must be self contained and its $80 per night( includes full hook-up+wifi).

Sorry boys, but if I can't get anyone to pick up the roast pig at 11am Saturday in Union City ( 32104 Alvarado Blvd, Union City,  CA ) and take it to HMB we won't have any roast pig.  Anyone not kayaking and coming from that area about that time?

There is a place here in Suisun, I wonder what time they open. It's called lechon station.

And what the hell is dry camping?!?!?  :smt005

"Self Contained" camping; no water, no shower, no nothing! The closest bathroom right across from the Harbor Master's building (at the entrance to the boat docks, but that's it; about 1oo yards from HMB Kayak and a little bit further from the upper lot.

I still am not sure if I will be staying Saturday night; may have to work at 4am on Sunday if I can't find anyone to cover my shift. But I may just do Friday night in the upper lot and bail Saturday afternoon right after the Raffle/Potluck.

With alot of folks coming on Friday, I am gonna ask the Harbor Master if we can also use the Beach Area to camp on Friday too...That's if people are interested in camping down there....

The NOAA's Coastal forcast looks like it might be a challenging paddle; but local 'Wind & Wave' reports shows otherwise.

I can bring an extra fryer, propane tank & my High tide fry disc if others want to use it????  Just let me know what else might be needed; tables, popup, fryer???????  I have a ton of gear and more than happy to stuff the car for the sake of the event.

No NCKA or other names mentioned in my call... simply asked if there was camping on the water 'cause it looked like campers on the beach area on Google earth.and what the cost was to camp there... $45.00 upper lot only was the answer I got..... left it at that... posted question here to verify other arrangements possibly made... Still coming to the event but I'd rather put that $90.00 (2 nights) in the PIF pot than in the Harbor fund... That is if I'm still welcome???!!?!?
