650-726-4382 this is where I called and they said NO camping at Yak shop...

Ron,

I sincerely hope you did not screw this up for us! :smt013 I had EVERTHING arranged with all parties when I posted this thread... :smt011 :smt011

Glen

No NCKA or other names mentioned in my call... simply asked if there was camping on the water 'cause it looked like campers on the beach area on Google earth.and what the cost was to camp there... $45.00 upper lot only was the answer I got..... left it at that... posted question here to verify other arrangements possibly made... Still coming to the event but I'd rather put that $90.00 (2 nights) in the PIF pot than in the Harbor fund... That is if I'm still welcome???!!?!?

Glen is getting grumpy in his old age. Of course your welcome...I also didn't realize this was top secret shit. :smt012

This was a classified mission you dork! Just like the last time we were able to camp out there. There has only been 3 times before that they have allowed a group to camp on there; first time was HMB Fire fighters and the other 2 times were for me. To make this one happen, we had to do a little bit more fanagling; but as of Monday, it was a go. I guess I will wait and see Friday....

Ron,

Of course you still are welcome, but you should have "Fully" read the first post on this thread; which included:

" ... and would require the camper to pay the regular over-night camping fee and they would allow us to camping on the beach front area, even though there is still room available in the upper parking lots."

Thank you Glen  :smt058.

Love ya Bro!

The dirt lot is usually ONLY used for overflow parking, like a the salmon/crab opener. Even then its for trucks with boat trailers. Its not top secret and everybody is invited. Glen knows most all the employees at the Harbormaster office. We get to use this area because of Glen and his connections. The price of staying in the parking lot went up a couple years ago, when it did it doubled!!! Its insane, but its also cheapest place(yes I hate paying it). Wife and I can't wait to hang out on that side of the hill.
