I read an article about it a year or so ago, gonna be a tricky thing, planning for all the silt removal and hoping it doesn't plug up and ruin what habitat there is below the dam.

I read somewhere that they are going to "chisel away" at it and not use any explosives.  A long... slow... careful...  process.
