Dustin we always got room for ya!

Marcos I glue the 383 trans in the same way and had to cut it out with a utility knife...so no. :smt001  But if it does It wont move since the cable is under tension. Ill here it rattling and reglue, but haven't had one fail yet.  FYI it does NOT work inside the hull.
I like it :smt004

Just gotta remember to get the "slow dry high strength" hot glue and wait til its REAL hot. You want it dripping out of the gun.

Your sure it doesn't shoot through hull if placed in a water bath ?(Corse, that's a long transducer) I wouldn't be comfortable trying to "Silicon" it in with that much surface to work with.

CGN- I am sure this transducer WILL shoot thru.  I was referring to doing so with hot glue. Sorry for the confusion

Glad you are liking the Dragonfly, I am pretty stoked with mine as well.
Just curious, I have never seen slow cure hot glue sticks before, of course I never looked for them either. Where did you get them?
I have one unit mounted on my Cuda and another that I set up as a portable unit for when I travel. With a Pelican case, some Ram Parts and some Yakattack parts it is a pretty sweet setup.

I'm thinking that with something (Any FF)with that kind of underwater view, the transducer should be in the water outside the hull!  I'm sure the screen resolution between thru hull and  outside hull may be minimal, but why deal with it at all?  With those types of shots available, I'd make every effort to make sure transducer is outside hull!  Thanks a bunch! :smt012  I don't think I'll ever look at my Eagle cuda the same way now! :smt044

I believe it will shoot thru but not positive.  The scuppers on the cuda make it so ez it was a natural fit, no reason to try shooting thru.

Dude that looks sweet! And those screen shots are fantastic. I haven't researched the Dragonfly yet...but do you know what frequencies the TD operates on? Looks like a very good option to the standard Lowrance & Humm units.

I found it. The TD operates at a frequency 200 / 350 kHz (regular vs Down Vision).
