Reports are looking great btw. Lots of salmon up to high 20#s with some big silvers to 10# in the mix. Bring your salmon ID skills.

Yeah, it's been hot and heavy up at T-dad with a description of "world class" not being disputed.  The latest HTC report of today's great bite didn't say how deep, and they've been going south to off the Mad, but then again I saw Shiro Maguro report that they hooked up some fish at 105-125' out front - that's 2.5 to 3 miles off the Head.  On a flat day it's not too bad - just get in easy paddle mode and go for an hour or more and you're there.  Inevitably you troll along the way, and there are plenty of chances for salmon anywhere from just off the Head all the way out.  I'm looking forward to some Trinidad time.  Someone's gonna catch a salmon, and hopefully all of us will have a good chance at one or a limit.  :smt001

Got it thanks crash. Depending on how it goes Saturday I may venture out Sunday toward salmon grounds if I were with someone, but not unless I can afford a vhf radio (I am going shopping after work tomorrow)  :smt001

Waterproof handheld Cobra two-pack for around $85 online...  Good call to get properly geared up before venturing offshore.   :smt001
