Well maybe. It does have a drain plug AND its roto molded. So its kinda like a yak. I picked this up from Dan at Headwaters. I am looking for a "SUP"ER simple set up AND something that the kids can play with and beat on as they get older.

So meet the first NCKA version of the Jackson SUPerNatural. Took the family to Stevens Creek Res for a shakedown paddle. After a quick test paddle had the kids jump on. I did take a rod out with me to see if fishing was doable. YEP! Gonna be fun looking for bass on a hot summer day.

I am in the process of rigging a cooler.I will post some pics of the cooler set up this weekend. Now time to hit the Capitola kelp beds!

Thanks again Dan for the Hook Up!!!

Based on a few hours of paddling...

Pluses:
Light (but then again I am used to the AI)
Simple set up (did I mention the AI?)
Easy to paddle (wife even jumped on it and smiled as she used it)
GoPro ready (integrated mount on the bow)
Durable vs standard SUP

Minuses
Boarder line SUPness
A bitch in the wind

Sweet!!

Let me know when you hit Capitola. I want to do some underwater exploring over that way. Anything that won't fit on your SUP you can put on my yak.

Sincerely,

Jim

Awwww man!  I have to try that out now!!!  Been wanting to SUP for a while now, but having a hard time finding one that is reasonably priced and can carry my weight.  That one looks like it would work!!!   :smt003

Anytime Al. I was on it with my daughter so we were over 250# not an issue are all. there is a ton of volume on that thing I could see it floating 350 no issues. wait till you see the cooler. built in bench seating! I did a test paddle with it on and it was super comfortable.

Looks to be the ticket for the partner of the zest in Tahoe. Figure I can put the ai, zest and this thing on the highlander.

Can't wait to hear how it works out
