Not sure if it is related, but AOTY and DOTY appear to be down?

Sincerely,

Yeah.  It was related, as I had to kill a few things to take back control!   :smt004

I restarted them.  Should be good to go now.

Sounds like your app and/or data connection sucks.

Licketysplit on chrome and wifi at home. Work now has ncka blocked--too many tracking cookies, tc apparently

I use in-private browsing. It has no tracking, cookies, history.
My works new computer policy was blocking all unauthorised use, but not now when it can't find it.

if you are using Chrome's "incognito" or another popular browser's private function then your employer can still track the pages you visit (assuming they are even remotely sophisticated)...

Yeah, I get something similar. The Paypal is likely because I have Paypal buttons up.  The Google stuff (3 of them) is expected (Analytics, Adsense, etc.).  There was a link to NorthWestKayakAnglers.com, which was sloppy code on my part, fixed now.  But it's not like there is an over abundance of trackers.

That chat is actually very resource hungry, as why most of the other sites do not use it.
+1 lol

Howard, are you still experiencing a significant slowdown?  The site speed has improved since I tuned the chat a bit.  But it is still slightly slower.  Since I didn't experience any extreme slowdown on my end, I'm looking for feedback from those of you that did.  Thanks.
