I use IE 9, and turning the chat feature on has made it so I need to double click the right hand scroll bar to get it to move, and it seems that everything on NCKA is now slower when using IE 9.

I guess I'm just gonna have to get used to Chrome, from which I write this now.

Scrolling works fine and everything else on NCKA seems to work faster with Chrome, but not as fast as pre Chat.  or at least it seems that way to me.

Yeah, I'm going to disable the chat and find another solution with lesser load.  Site response time is almost double with this chat.  Sorry to those of you that have grown fond of this feature.

Polepole, only thing I found reasonable is the SMF mibbit plugin, but that is full blown chat (zero resource use, server side) As for instant messenger, there is none suitable for SMF.

Thanks for that chaeki.  I was afraid you were going to say that about  IM.
