Santa Cruz Friday and Saturday 5/31/13 - 6/1/13

Going out again for butts and rockfish and targeting bait.  Taking Sara's brother for his first time out on Friday   Saturday looks like even better weather, so I'm going to plan on going back to back.  Weather should be pretty good too!

Al, I plan on going out this saturday also. where are you launching. I'll try and meet up with you.

Wish I could join you, but we're going back east for a family visit until the end of June. Looks like the fishing has picked up in the last few days, saw a couple of halibut at the cleaning stations.

Jim, good intel..have fun out east..Al and Alex, if I don't see u Friday morning out there then definetly Sat. morning...Ill have lots of cold ones on ice and a placereal happy motivated, fishy attitude! ...Wat kind of beer u like??

Looks like Santa Cruz is the place to go this weekend with the Sonoma coast blown out. Can anyone recommend a nice campground nearby?

Will be launching off the hand launch at about 6AM.  Since it's Sara's brother Mike's first trip out on a kayak, might be a little slow to launch.  Probably head over to the sailing buoy then drift out deeper towards the red can.  Unless Allen wants to take me where he was on last Friday   

Campground near by that wont be filled up?  Pretty fricken hard to find, but you can try Manresa, Sunset Beach, Henry Cowell, or sure you can come crash at our place.  Have at least couch space, or crash in your truck. 

Btw, while out in Monterey on Sunday, herd a few boats talking about WSB.
