Try the Santa Cruz Harbor (or Port District) website.  Basically, it's on the west side (what inlanders call north-but  the coast runs east-west here) of the harbor, go south on Seabright Ave, turn left (east) on Atlantic until you are about to drive into the water at Aldo's Restaurant - there's a guard rail blocking most of the lanes-, then another left (north) down the steep road to the harbor.  The Aldo's launch is back under the steep part of the road near the kayak storage (metal roof) area.
There is another launch on the same (west) side, just keep going north toward the bridge, about 1/4 mile more, just before the bridge is a Coast Guard station and opposite it is the ramp and the big white fishing vessel Velocity.
That area can get a little congested with sailors launching just as you are landing.
There are public bathrooms fairly close to each launch site.
Some people like to launch at the regular boat launch near the Crow's Nest Restaurant on the east side opposite Aldo's, but I've never done it.  Bayside Marine is the bait/tackle shop on the east side of the harbor not far from the power boat launch.  That's where you take the big hali you're going to catch to get your picture taken.

Heads up! It cost $5.00 dollars to launch your kayak in addition to the $10.00dallars parking. The Parking attendant hit me and Bear up for the launch fee when we got back from fishing last time we were there. We usually go to Bayside to buy are parking permit, but i don't think you could buy the launch fee there for the west harbor. Bayside open up at 5am and the parking attendant booth doesn't open till 9am. that's why she will be looking out for us when we return to the launch to collect.

Oh, she also told us that if you have two kayaks to launch and one vehicle to park it would only cause you the ten dollars for the launch fee and parking is then free. That's what she told us.

I thought the $10 includes launch fee.

So from what you said, it costs $15 to launch one kayak and park, but only $10 to launch two kayaks and park.  Should I put an extra kayak on top of my car?   :smt002
