I guess it just rubbed me the wrong way. Judging from his first post he has had problems with groups in the past and is maybe holding others at arms length until we have proved ourselves worthy. Give the guys a chance Tim. As a whole I've never met a nicer bunch of people. We are human so of course you will find the occasional Ahull, I mean Ahole, but that is not a reason to sit on the sidelines. There is a tourney comming up in a couple weeks. Even if you don't sign up, come out for a couple hours, introduce yourself and meet the guys. I promise you, if you give us a chance you will find the group is full of respectful people.

Thanks trailhead I'll keep that in mind,I am currently having issues with my truck which I use to haul my kayak,it's discouraging trust me,otherwise it would be easier for me to put the next foot forward and participate,until I get my truck dialed in I'll have to continue to sit on the sidelines,it sucks to have to look at my dusty kayak with nothing I can do about it during the best time of the year to be on the water.

This could explain the issues behind his first post. Remember, the idea is to join in and make friends. Save the telling people off part for another forum  whenever possible.
