Dude, you had 300 bucks worth of change just laying around the house?  Wow.
Congrats on being able to scratch up a camera for diddly!

I hate loose change in my pockets, so I toss them all in an old costco nut jar. I found a few of those and a one gallon jug of mixed change in our vault. It all weighed around 46 lbs, had to use a shopping cart to roll them into the store.

425 quarters
1,084 dimes
892 nickels
4,588 pennies

Sweet!  46 pounds of change!!

I'm to cheap to do the change machine thing.  I will sit and roll coins myself all day to not pay the fee.

That camera looks great.  I think I need to search under my couch cusions...  :smt003

Me too...then again, I didn't even get around to rolling them.
That's why I went for the Amazon gift card, no fee.

Overall I like the camera.  I do wish it had an image stabilizer.  It's hard to stay in focus when rolling...

Yeah Mol if you get a gift card, no fees! And you can't get just about anything on Amazon these days.

I don't like the fact that expensive things like this sink when dropped in the water, so I added a float. This is a cheap WM keyfloat I had sitting on my workbench. Tested it first and it works.

Very cool Al. We did the same to Becky's before we ever took it out. In theory it should have worked. Glad you proved it did.

Me too, I put it on the camera before we went to HMB, but I wasn't really sure it would work.

Pentax New W20 how often do they upgrade this camera? http://www.h20camera.com/camera/w20
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

You can also get waterproof cases for many of the Canon digital cameras. They are good down to around 50 feet, if I recall. I just use mine for snorkeling. The case with the camera inside floats, too. Not as convenient or compact as a waterproof camera, but it's a good way to waterproof an existing camera. I have attached a shot of dolphins in Hawaii that I took with a Canon A90 with the waterproof case.

The case has never leaked, but ironically I dropped the camera (without the case) in the Animas River in Durango last summer while trying to photograph a tiny rainbow that wasn't worth the effort. After working for a year after its accidental swim, the camera finally broke last week and went back to Canon for a diagnosis.

Do you guys think this is a good deal?  It comes with + 2GB SD Memory Card + Extra Battery + Camera Case + LCD Screen Protector + USB Hi-Speed SD card Reader for $350 shipped.  I was looking at the w10 and it is about 40 bucks cheaper, but the w20 is 7mp instead of 6mp.  Thoughts?

Yep... good deal.  That's pretty much what I paid for my W10 with exactly the same extras.

Personally, 6 mp is plenty in my opinion... the resolution is pretty phenomenal... I wouldn't pay the extra $40 just for that, but if there are other improvements, it might be worth it.
