Okay I'm about to ask a really stupid question, but has no one noticed a -1.4 ft tide this weekend.
Wind at Tomales 7 mph...
Anyone besides me thinkin' clams in the morning, hali's in the afternoon, crabs in the evening?

Go easy, I said it was a stupid question!

Isn't this about the time last year that "the screws" had a clamming hookup at Doran?

It's not a stupid question bioman.  I'm thinking about going but not commit to it yet.  Will post a hookup if I do.

I'm so confused!  What to do next???  Minus tides for clamming at Lawson's.  Halibut at ARW or Paradise.  Mt. Lassen Trout at SPD.  Trolling for Salmon.  Crabbing at HMB.  Only 3 weeks until GS-7 and the opening of Rock Fish season.

Aren't you retired and can fish 7 days a week? (j/k)  :smt005

I've only been there once last year for about an hour just to meet you guys (the screws).
So you are probably right. I want to go and take my kids one of these days.
So I'm definitely interested.

Does Lawson's have showers or even just a hose?

There is a hose bib located near the portable toilets very near where the beach launch access is located.  It would probably be a good idea to bring a hose.  I have never seen any showers or other services.

Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning?

I may have answered my own stupid question. The CDPH issued a warning for all recreational harvest of shellfish in Marin County on Feburary 28 of this year.  As of today they had not rescinded that warning.  CDPH’s toll-free “Shellfish Information Line” at (800) 553-4133.

I'm thinkin this might just scare off the Pu$$ies that don't want to risk permanent nerve damage or death. Anyone know better?

We have been eating raw Horseneck Clams  for several years that we harvest from the clam beds off of Lawson's Landing.  Is shell fish poisoning a high risk?

If I get poisoned for eating raw clams it's Sonny's fault
He got me hooked on them.  :smt003
