About a 2 mile paddle.  You thinking about hitting it up PK?  I'll go with!

How far is it from Turner's to the Lost Isle?

Looks close enough!

Might be to unsafe to paddle there.  To much PB traffic and drunk sailors.

Any intel on where to fish in the area? I am really looking forward to this event. I have no clue on which way to go or what to fish for. Anyone with experience fishing this area?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

I'm with Traildad....I have never fished here and wonder what I should bring.

I am going to get there on Saturday around lunch time...would anyone be willing to do a little "fishing class" for us newbies?

Yak - what kinds of rules do we need to be aware of for the C & R pics?

I'll be there early Saturday morning, my advice to ppl new to fishing here is to drift minnows, I've had good luck with that and trolling for stripped bass

+1 on the Agents.  For me, shad patterns have produced also.
Take some, but save some for later.

+1 if you really want to catch something, jumbo secret agents for bass jr secret agents for panfish. I would use light wire circle hooks. Since this is a CNR tourney and I don't eat delta fish anyway I will be fishing lures and flies only. I didn't catch anything last year but neither did a lot of people using agents.

Wow, from the website, Lost Isle looks like Bro-Dog Central :smt005
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Lost isle in its current form is pretty much a junk yard, but I have had decent luck fishing by it early in the year.
