Sorry I haven't posted much here lately, been buisy with a few things in my personal life.
Anyways, just received a few items from Scotty, one of the great co sponsors. Also received a few goodies for the random prizes. Things are really comming together.
Don't forget, you can fish for any of the 4 species but can only check in 1 pic of 1 species. I will have prizes for the top 3 anglers of each species as well as plenty of random prizes just for participating. Also, don't forget that one lucky angler will win the Grand Prize just for entering and participating.

See Ya Soon,
Eric / Yakhopper

There has been a question raised about the entering only one photo of one fish.
This is the best response I can give at this time;
These events are about family and friends first, and competition after.
You will have all day to fish for any or all species on the list, at the check-in however, you must decide which species you want to enter. This will allow more anglers the opportunity to place in a category and eliminate the single angler from holding all the top spots.
I know this is probably not going to make everybody happy, but I am hoping this will allow for the most enjoyment by the most anglers.

See Ya Soon,

I agree.  One of the things I've always liked about the Yakhopper events is the single big fish format, and emphasis on fun.  If it's your day, anybody can catch the big one - part of the fun!    Thanks Eric!

Eric,
That's a great format.  Everyone has a shot at it.  I'll only be coming for the day, but I can't wait.  Your events are always a good time for all!  Thanks for all you do.

It's not a NCKA event. It's a Fisherman's Warehouse event.

Yakhopper +1 on the format.  Seems like most NCKA events are multi species points events and I would never get close to placing. Seeing as I only fish for LMB, SMB, and spots and not kokes, crappie, bluegill, trout, and stripers or any other species. This format  gives me a shot at placing as I will only be competing against the others who will only be weighing in bass like myself. Now do not get me wrong those who throw the NCKA events and im not complaining. I did fish the Berry salmon slam two years ago but I knew going in I had no chance of placing due to the multi species point system. I still fished and had a good time.
