Blast from the past ... the Gallery

Well ... I noticed as we were moving servers that the old Gallery system was still limping along, although not really publicized.  Since I was already under the hood working on things, I resuscitated her, and gave her a few needed software updates.  And I put a file upload limit on her of 1MB, lest you fill up our disk.  Sorry, I don't have the time to figure out auto-resize right now to avoid the file limit.

Anyway, I know next to nothing about the Gallery2 platform, and I don't find Gallery2 particularly intuitive.  So don't bother to ask for feature enhancements right now; I just have too many other things on my plate.  I just wanted to make sure she was working on this new server before I shut down the old one.  If anyone here is an expert in the Gallery2 platform, and would like to volunteer their services, shoot me a PM.

Oh ... it was kind of cool perusing all the old pictures, some back as far as 2006.

I've really missed the gallery!  Was cool to be able to upload all the pics via Gallery Remote and then insert them where you wanted in your post.  I also just loved browsing through the archives of past pictures    Many fond memories for sure! 

I never utilized it that I know of.  EDIT - OK, now I'm remembering!

Tried to attach a Gallery image by hitting the button below...but it didn't work. No worries though--I was just curious if it'd work.

Oh, I see, I didn't even know that option existed.  I'll at least look into how to remove the button!

There.  I removed it.  I'll put it on the list of things to check out ... another day.
