just curious...again 

I was certified as a teacher/responder up until 2011...

  Sacramento City Fire....

  Retired,  still feel the " Pride in pain... "  our academy modo ...   

All together, over 30 years in the field counting my private ambulance service and other fire departments in San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and Sacramento Counties...

Firefighter Yuba City Fire Station 3. I have been with the city going on 6 years. I worked for Cal Fire for 3 years before that and did a year with the feds before that. Best job in the world!

1997-2002 Salinas Rural Fire District (Now Monterey Regional Fire) as a PCF.
2005-2011 Southern Montery County Fire District as a PFC.  Became and Engineer.
First responder and CPR certs have expired.

Family and work have changed my priorities.   I loved the time spent training and running calls but I now enjoy sleeping through the night.   With both companies we responded POV to the call and met the engine primarily.

You guys are awesome.  Nice to be in a group with so many quality people.

You can find me in Walnut Creek most days.  But due to the districts needs, I can be almost anywhere in Contra Costa County from San Pablo to Antioch.  What you should know is, if we are ever fishing together, I have a pretty decent first aid kit I keep in my truck.  So if you have a minor injury, find me and we will see what we can do.

LA City Fire Department for a year, then got a chance to move home to the Bay Area.

Currently with Santa Clara County going on 7 years, now I get to drive the biggest truck in Cupertino...

It really is the best job in the world and I feel very fortunate to be a part of a huge extended family, while being able to give back every day.

I know barefoot1's son works for a fire department - I believe Cal Fire but not sure.
