    Hahahah...    I forgot about a past life service as an ambulance driver.   Spent 6 months TDY  in Germany.  Delivered a baby on the side of the road once in this vehicle.   Plus a lot of other really WIERD calls over that period in my life..

This is  a photo of one of our ambulances.  the modern one.   The other was a 3/4 ton  like you've seen in the movie MASH.

 

  Fire Captain with Fresno Fire, been with them 40 years this July. I still love going to work and helping people. I even love getting a cat out of a tree now and then. I'm a newbe and looking forward to meeting this group.

Oh Man... my back hurts just looking at that, that was in the time when ya had to pick the whole damn thing up,  from a dead lift, pt. and gurney... 

 

Love this movie and when that gurney breaks away,  comedy!!! ....
