A ship sets sail from its home port. Every port that the ship stops at has a part of it replaced with an identical part. By the time it gets back to its home port every piece has been replaced.

Is it the same ship?

If the crew remains the same, the ship is the same.   A ship is more than a list of parts.

Deep thought over now.

I would have to say that it is not.  We are more than the sum of our parts, we are the sum of our experience.  The boat and crew are not the same ones that started the journey.  So even if no parts were replaced, I would still say it is not the same boat.

No

If you replaced all the parts just for the Hell of it it's a "Copy"

If you replaced all the parts because they failed it's a POS

Then there is the arugment about identical parts

It is the same ship, but it is forever changed- probably for the better.  The crew would have welded that weak spot up solid, reinforced and better than new. Zinc plated bolts might have been replaced with top quality stainless.  Improvements would have no doubt been made during the slow and steady "rebuild".
Take some, but save some for later.

Are the parts really identical? or are some of them knock-off chinese made crap? I say take out a large insurance policy then drain the fluids and use heavy explosives to sink the ship off the coast of a remote beach in baja. Clearly this ship was born to be an artificial reef. Next, take the insurance money and buy the beach and build a 10,000 sqft custom home and invite all your kayaking buddies down to fish the reef and live the life you were meant to live.

Does that mean if you Rename it without replacing any parts it's a differant Ship??
