Or make it out of steel disguised as wood so they break their wrist next time.

I'm sort of leaning this way :smt003 If I had wrapped the whole thing with the steel it would have helped
As it is, the Verm didn't go down without a fight.

I'm just glad I pulled the big white shark piece and the Risso dolphin piece from the lower garden and put them both up near the house. If they had messed with Whitey I would be really down.

The new big pieces will stay hidden until the weekend of the art show this year.

They might just jack the game cam though. I'd go with video cams with a hard drive. That way even if they mess with the camera, it's too late, it's already on your hard drive.

Making a metal piece and running 220 to it wouldn't be bad either...

That sucks Sean!

+ 1 on the game cam - just keep secure it to a tree that they cant reach and camo it so it's less visible.

orrrr....you can hire me for securiy...

Heck yeah Joel.
If you can shoot a perch head-on, I'm certain you could take out the tire of a moving car!

I had a good view of the car, but no streetlights meant it was pitch dark. If I had just flicked on our front light a bit earlier I could have possibly spooked them off, but by then they had already trashed the post. I actually thought it was just someone getting their mail at 3am at first.

*update*
Just heard from the FB posting, and they were playing mailbox baseball all down Pine Flat, so we were only one of a dozen houses that had problems. What little F$%#@s!

Dang that sucks!!!!

Hey I just had an idea. My parents have these motion-detector hose sprayers to keep deer away from the garden. What if you setup one of these things....and filled it with piss instead of water LOL!
