Believe me, I am...  it's like pulling teeth...  looks like Pathway Home is pulling out, that's a bummer, I was really hoping they would make the trip.

The Warrior Transition Unit is busy with other stuff...

We do have a few that are coming on their own...

"Ron" in the valley is working on a few things, and I'm talking with the VA trying to figure how a good number of people who want to camp and those who want to come out for the day...

I am solid about keeping this a smaller event, if we only wind up with half a dozen, then so be it.  That's the kind of numbers that other chapter have when they do events.  I hope to have numbers soon, but it will be a last second scramble...

and to top it off... my hard drive crashed, I'm in the dark on a tattered PC with no files or my contacts...  brutal....

sounds good, Tandems are awesome...  I know we have at least one who is going to need a tandem as she is bringing a care giver with her, not sure what the disability is.

Haven't forgotten.... 

Still working on numbers as the new group of vets I was working on fell through, they have too much going on with their graduation being close...

 I'm guessing we are going to have around 6 or so camping with us... don't know need if they need camping gear yet...

I also expect a small contingency from the VA on Saturday....

Dealing with a hard Drive crash and over loaded in school so " Bear " with me as we will get this done and have fun!

I got wood! 

BBQ Fri or maybe a big pot of spaghetti, meatballs, bread? Will we do burritos on Sat morn? If the group is small I just say dogs and burgers Sat lunch. Chips, fruit etc. Easy stuff.

Ill be arriving early Sat. 6am ish. 
I have bottled water  and some ice.   water count: 23 + cases.
                                                            ice:20lb bags X2
EZ up, table ,and some utensils.
I think Savemart in Riverbank is gonna donate some fruit .

Just an FYI, I can be there as early as Thursday.  Who else will, and what instructions do you have?  I'll just bring all my camping stuff and what is needed, great.  What isn't, no problem.  I'll just pack it away when I get back home for another day.

As far as I know, Rob and Hojo might be the only ones there on Thursday, I'm coming in Friday...

 as far as what vets we have and how many, it's going to be a last minute thing... I just received a mass e-mail from a Captain with the Warrior Transition Unit and who knows what that is going to bring, maybe none,.  we have the VA lingering out there and 'Ron" friend of PaddleboyDan, is working on some contacts....

Whatever I have confirmed by Wednesday is what we are preparing for and I will post those needs then...

It looks like the temp. Is gonna be in the low 90's for the event. should be a weekend weather wise.
Trying to make Fri. Night . Don't know yet.  Will be bringing my kids to this one so they can see HOW we roll.
I will have a Tandom kayak to bring for the event. I'll have to be on the shore for this one,I'm still on the IR .
