Whether or not I make it, expect enough ground beef for about 50 burgers, although not as huge as the ones at SPDR last year.

OK, just remembered I marked my calendar for this, my first HOW event!

This event is going to be different this year, were inviting vets to come camp with us over night arriving on Friday...  NCKA volunteers can arrive on Thursday and stay till Saturday, maybe Sunday..  Saturday will probably bring more for the day, not sure if the VA is going to trek all the way out there again, but it will be a bit busier on Saturday.

So, stay tuned as we work this one out, but the focus is to make it smaller, more intimate as to have a relaxing day of fishing and hanging out with the vets....

I'm going to be doing some personal out reach to the troops on this. Were inviting troops to spend the night with us Friday... it's not going to be as big as before, much more laid back and getting some fishing done...

were still reinventing the wheel on this one and may be needing camping supplies. Probably not going to have exact numbers for a few more weeks, so please be flexible and patient as I'm still not sure who is coming troop wise.

Don, I have some extra tents,sleeping pads and bags I can bring.

not exactly sure who or how many we have coming, but will start to get this off the ground next week after the event this Friday is done...

it will be smaller and we will not be running the circus we usually run...  more focussed on just hanging out with the vets and fishing....
