Report from last sturday:  Small bass were biting in the coves.  Big Matt caught a 5lb cutbow.  The water is really low, but it keeps a lot of other boats off the water :)

The water temp was about 65 all day :)

Lots of good prizes and I'm stupid busy, but so looking forward to this  :)

I just meant you will be so far from the water no matter where you camp. I mean a long way from it.

Oh yeah, you're right, I was there last week, and did notice that those numbered campgrounds (I think??) were at the back of a cove, which (still WTH off the water, but) offered the shallowest climb into a campground spot, there was a group of Asian gentlemen camped there who were fishing off the bank down from their campsites, it looked nice.  :smt003

Saw lots of fish caught Saturday under bobbers in the corner of the damn and docks. One of the boats had a real nice stringer trolling dark color grubs, another boat was doing well up near the inlet on rapalas at 55' on the dr. Lots of bass fry in the trees up near the inlet.
If you have wheels you may wanna bring them and rig up in the parking lot then walk down to the ramp. It's very narrow and might get congested.
There's a ton of trash littered all over banks with some quality fishing tackle in the mix so bring your bags

Yes, naoaki, you are paid.  $10 bucks for tourney for everyone who has been to an event this year already.  25 if this is your first 2013 event.
For the lake its:
9 car fee, 8 perperson fishing and 3 per person kayak.
Start fishing at dawn, off the water at 1:00pm check in at the ramp.

Thought I remembered paying $21 last year but according to Jim it's $9 + $8 + $3 = $20, no?  + $25 since it's my first tourney = $45

Oops, you're right - $21.  According the Lake Amador website, cars are $10, not $9.

Was there an official report from last year's event or was it just the few posts in the original thread?
