If I am lucky, this won't be during soccer season! :smt005
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

What kind of format do the FreshKATS events use?  Is this a tournament or just a get together?  What species?  CPR format or a live weigh in event?

I'll be there one way or the other.  I'd like to see how the event is run if nothing else.  Hoping its a bass tournament though!!

Bass, trout, cat, panfish. Best five fish with a point value assigned to each per inch. You can bring fish in, but most CPR. It is a tournament, and actually part of a series.

Sounds like something I'd like to try out for sure.  Can I still fish a single event even if I haven't made the previous events this year?  Is there an AOY title for the series?

It's a great way to meet a smaller group of people than let's say Give me Shelter. then when you go to the bigger events you will feel more comfortable knowing some of the people there.
Do it, sign up for the second half of the series some of us only are one fish ahead of you for the total points at the end but who cares it is a good time and a chance to learn from more experience anglers.

You can fish a single event. You just need to pay for your yearly insurance & also the entry fee for the event you want to enter. There was an AOY named for last year's series. Check Rob's signature & you'll see it.

Great event series, Jim and the help of Adam have done a top notch job with these! For each event you enter your wrist band is entered into a end of season raffle. This raffle at the Port of Sacramento is for a Lowrance Elite4 DSI. You must be present to win. So you don't have to place at these events to win a great prize, you just need to come out and have a great time. Mike

Hey there fellas, Amador is supposed to start stocking a better strain of trout next week for the upcoming trout season.

I have a pile of goodies waiting to be awarded as prizes :)

I'll try to get season standings up this week and will double check and post park rates as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all out there next month, until then, Tight Lines

Gonna have to see if I remember how to fish for baby salmon (not that I have done that well with full-grown salmon...) :smt003

I have this one my calendar! Count me in Jim - maybe myself plus 2?

It might be nice to camp there as well - which sites/areas is everyone staying in?
