Hey guys.  I have a few buddies who are very much into kayak angling and have been trying to get me into it for some time.  I am finally going to take the plunge very soon on a PA and all the rigging goodies.  I do a ton of bass fishing and saltwater stuff (my true love is long range tuna fishing).  I am also a custom rod builder and have been building rods since I was 14.

I attended your seminars at FW (San Jose) on rod making and long range trips.  Very cool!  Welcome to the Madness!

It got a laugh from me too!
But, see those custom rods? FNG's don't wrap rods like that. :smt044

Thanks guys!  And Jason, I'm glad you enjoyed the seminars!  I really enjoy teaching others about the stuff I love.  Having worked in the fishing industry for a long time ill probably buy a PA through one of my buddies.  Rod building for me is my creative outlet and I love teaching people how to build rods/gaffs and if anyone wants to learn, feel free to PM me.

There's a bunch of ways to do a sailfish; I could use a decal, use abalone shell, or weave one (far and away the most expensive option)

Its good to hear from you John.  Sounds like life is good after FW.  Keep us informed on when you get your PA and we'll hook up.
