Can I get an XL, and 2 large T's? Thanks Eric!

Dude - you really are a comedian!   :smt005

I can hook you up with some Gimme Shelter Gyotaku shirts, Rich - they're $10/each, you have the kids print them and print one yourself, and then wear them to the potluck for a chance at a hundred dollar prize for best printed shirt.  Brandi's running that aspect of the event at the campground from 230 to 430 I think on Saturday.  All the other tourney gear is pre-order only.  Thanks.   :smt001

Yes!  Come join us printing fish!  Here is the thread on the event, more info will be posted on it very soon  http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?topic=45504.0

Thanks Brandi, and Eric, kids will love that. I am going to bring some stuff.

My tap-a-talk is on pg 32 and I want the gear preview on pg 42,  does some know the post # for the gear preview?  It's complicated stuff to get my Hali, Salmon, Ling and RCG while not breaking any laws.

I'm going with a pole spear shorted for my Kage....but if my buddy GB2 is around I want to see his Kage in action!

Yes, tapatalk pages don't correlate with the website pages.  To answer your question, it is post 616, but Eric is not talking about fishing gear, but rather clothing gear that arrived.

Hope this helps!

2 Barbless circle hooks hard tied < 5" from the eye of the top hook to the bottom of the lower hook is legal for anything you will catch at Shelter Cove.

It's at this point it all starts to become reality. The pile of gear is growing, the constant trips to pick up random tackle that I'll probably never use. Staying up late online researching what bait worked where, studying underwater topo maps of the cove. And of corse checking every weather and swell report I can find. This is when we all become amature meteorologists so post 'em up when you find 'em
From what I found Monday looks like 4ft seas at 6 seconds

Sleep is starting to get challenging...   :smt003

The long term swell forecasts from Stormsurf are getting closer to the opener.  Here are shots of today (it's EXTREMELY flat right now) and a shot of next Tuesday at 11AM.  Jimbo was saying a swell is kicking up, but as long as we don't see pinkish and red hues we should be good.

I'll keep updating with new screenshots, and keep your fingers crossed for Saturday the 18th's shot...

PS:  the salmon bite has been a bit hot and cold at the Cove, but 20 pounders have been caught near the Whistle in the past several days...   :smt007
