last night I built some rod carriers for my truck shell in prep for this trip. Still lots of stuff to wrap up before I feel "ready", but at least I am making small steps forward so far.
So, yeah I'm excited.

So come on out and join in the festivities including the potluck, but, sorry, can't add you onto the tournament roster as the deadline has passed.  There's always next year.

OK, check this out:  Over the past several years I've noted a trend that sometimes occurs with the ocean swells and wind.  At times (no guarantees here...), a flat spell will be followed by another one a week later - it often occurs 2 to 4 weeks in a row, with about a week gap between flatnesses.  Let's hope for that!  By the end of next week (5/10) we should be getting some good views of how the water and wind may be...  On pins and needles here!   

2 weeks left, I better start packing

I didn't say 13 days to the "derby" event.  I said 13 days to go... (means hit the road to GS7).  For some people it's only 12 days
