"King Tides" clams and monkey faces....

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the "king tides" this week and wouldn't this be an opportunity to hunt some new ground for clams or monkey faces?

Tides this week of -1.6 an lower.... you experienced dudes want to 'splain why there isn't a flurry to hit the lowest tides of the year?

Extreme negative tides can be good. Especially for shore fishing, poke poling, clamming, etc. But it's kinda dangerous to poke-pole in the dark (OK that just sounds wrong hahaha). At least, that's my excuse. I hate how it gets dark at like 5pm nowadays!

Bump. 

King tides in the cards for the RF closer.  Any thoughts?
