May sound weird, but I guess it just dawned on me that this is going to be like the best vacation I've ever had!  No need to haul camping gear, setup and tear down camp, no hauling kayaks to the water, no need to cook, or help people cook.  No G/F or WAF to worry about, or kids to keep happy and entertained.  I dont even need to walk my dog! :smt044  So in short... I CANT WAIT!!!! :smt003

I agree!   And no phones or Internet!   Just friends, fishing, good food and a few cold ones.

Are we bringing beer? What's the policy? I know they make money off beer and soda sales.
Will they let us keep it cold in their fridge ? I've got a bottle of homemade Grand Mariner in my suitcase  :smt003
Seems like somebody always forgets something on these trips.  I'm bringing an extra Humminbird 500 series head ( should work with 300 or 700 series mount) and an extra 12V battery.
Anybody want to bring an extra paddle, PDF, seat, or ?

Seems like there are a few guys that want to come by for the BBQ so we will grab some stuff to throw on the grill.  We are however going to cancel the MBF due to not a lot of guys coming down Thursday.  We will still be offering 15% off all items in store (except Electronics and Kayaks.).

Please be ready to load at the boat at 6pm on Friday at Fishermans Landing.

Fish Cleaning PAL already covered.  They will fillet or Gill and Gut for you on the boat.  For extended processing you can contact Five Star or one of the others.  They MAY or May Not be at the dock when you guys get back.  They wont be meeting you there however with the amount of tuna being caught there may be other boats they will be meeting and can accommodate for you as well.  if not you can go to their facility.

For Beer/alcohol you can not bring your own for the most part.  Reason for this is that not only that they make money but also that if you bring your own the crew has no control to be able and cut you off if need be (Liability/ CG stuff).  Your bottle of Wine should be fine, those guys are pretty cool about bringing small amounts stuff like that just dont overdue it.

I wouldnt bring a heavy troll rod.  As Paul said there sint really room or a need for it.  If for some fluke instance they want to put trollers out the Islander has a full set of Troll rods.

Sounds like the Yellows are starting to show up at SCI so hopefully you guys get some!

Can't wait! Is it a far walk to  board the islander from the parking area? If so, would there be carts to carry our gear to the boat? I don't have that much gear, but i like to keep it down to one trip from the Vehicle if possible  :walk:  :smt003

SD here i come!

Yes, they have big rolling carts to help load/unload our stuff.

Don't forget your ocean enhancement stamps and your bow lines, guys.
