What time should we show up with are gear to board the islander?

I can't believe I'm going to say this. 


They told my mom they would start loading yaks at 5.

If I received the "good news" by Thursday night and there's still spot available who should I contact?

Ill be leaving Bradley early Friday.  We should be able to squeeze another yak on top of the Yukon if you wanted to carpool.   We would stop real quick in Long Beach for my dad.  Creative packing and it could all fit. 

If you have good luck and want to carpool, PM me.   Bloodbath is going down Friday too I think.  For me, never too late to carpool.  I'll leave Bradley before 7.  After the girls wake up I'll give my goodbye kisses and hit the road.

NOAA's long range point and click forecast. 

Saturday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly cloudy. Mixed swell...WNW 2 ft and WSW 2 ft. Wind waves 1 ft or less.

It looks like Al & I are going to leave early Friday morning too. Still trying to figure out which car/truck to take though.
Or if anybody wants company (and can fit 2 more yaks on their rig), we'll split gas $ and take turns driving!

FYI, if you use GPS and it wants you to take a toll road to San Diego down there other than the I-5 route, don't do it unless you have a usage card (no toll collection buckets there). You will get a traffic ticket. **Info from a friend down there**

 info  says that there is no personnel  on booths but you can pay  with cash on machines. on toll road 73 ?

Not sure if this is correct, maybe we should ask dpshim, who drives to LA like once a week?

You can pay your toll with cash on the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads. Not all toll booths are staffed, so be prepared to pay with exact change at automatic coin machines.
