I'm in for Saturday. Just need to know, when you determine a location, exactly where.

Fort Ross is cool with me! More excited to get out to somewhere other than TC.

Conditions are slipping. I wouldn't recommend anyone new to the ocean going out on either day.

I'm still on the fence due to the early morning wind forecast.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NW 8 to 13 kt in the morning. Sunny. Mixed swell...WNW 5 ft at 10 seconds and SW 1 ft at 15 seconds. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.

Sunday: NNW wind 7 to 10 kt. Sunny. Mixed swell...WNW 4 to 5 ft and SW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Sunday almost looks a little better? It fluctuates greatly depending on the point and click area chose.  I'm new to this site, and haven't launched at ft Ross. Not new to the ocean. :-)

I usually go by the 10mile out section/selection....and it aint looking too welcoming  :smt010

A STRONG NORTHERLY SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL PRODUCE MODERATE
NORTHWEST WINDS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS TODAY LASTING INTO THE
WEEKEND. EXPECT ROUGH AND CHOPPY SHORT PERIOD SEAS TO BE GENERATED
BY THESE WINDS. THE LARGEST WAVES ARE EXPECTED NORTH AND WEST OF
POINT REYES. A PERIOD OF GALE FORCE WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE NORTHERN OUTER COASTAL WATERS SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY MORNING

SAT
 N WINDS 5 TO 15 KT...BECOMING NW 15 TO 25 KT IN THE
AFTERNOON. WIND WAVES 3 TO 6 FT...INCREASING TO 3 TO 10 FT IN THE
AFTERNOON. NW SWELL 6 TO 8 FT AT 10 SECONDS.

 SAT NIGHT
NW WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 4 TO 7 FT. NW SWELL
 7 TO 9 FT AT 10 SECONDS.

 SUN
 NW WINDS 15 TO 25 KT...BECOMING N 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 3
TO 5 FT. NW SWELL 6 TO 8 FT AT 10 SECONDS.

it looks like it's gonna blow hard & early = one can hope, but wind swell is too much to hope away.

Tigerfish~ can you save me a BH swimbait for another day, 4+hrs of driving to confirm that it's crappy is kinda heart breaking.
