Bodega Crab theives caught!

I would file that under stupid crook, who the hell is so dumb and desperate, that they get caught in broad daylight.  Now that is stupid!

Glad 'some' of them got caught    But i'm sure the problem still exists....

It's crazy someone would even have the guys to pull someone else's Pots out of the water.
Be like reeling in some dudes pole sitting on the bank.

  Glad to hear someone was caught doing this!  Yes, they should absoultly LOOSE the boat! or any means they used to poach!

One small victory. Like I tell my kids all the time, at the end of the day, it is just a crab/bird/deer/fish. No need to get greedy and bend the law.

Ok heres an idea. Put a fake buoy near your pots and tie a line going through a stake on the bottom all the way back to your campsite on the beach. Poacher starts pulling your trap and bells start ringing. Lol

I was thinking of tieing it to a grenade, then as they pull it goes off.  One less cheater.

They got money for a boat like that but no money for skills to catch crab.freaking low life's 

No freakin kidding.... I'd have suspected a small unseaworthy clunker. I hope his fines hurt.

The nads on those guys.  Whatever the punishment was, it wasn't enough.

That's why we put our PB pots far and deep enough that nobody messes with them!  We usually only lose our pots that are in the shallows, unless of course we drop a pot where the rope is too short! 

I've said it before, and I'm going to say it again.
