Ok heres an idea. Put a fake buoy near your pots and tie a line going through a stake on the bottom all the way back to your campsite on the beach. Poacher starts pulling your trap and bells start ringing. Lol

I was thinking of tieing it to a grenade, then as they pull it goes off.  One less cheater.

That's why we put our PB pots far and deep enough that nobody messes with them!  We usually only lose our pots that are in the shallows, unless of course we drop a pot where the rope is too short!  :smt003
