Hopefully the warnings for my area (Felton) are over exaggerated and we won't get the ful 8" the weather guessers are predicting.  I think we will loose power at some point though, happens EVERY stinking time the roads get wet or the wind blows.
No worries, oil lamps are out, genny is full and ready, lots of fire wood ready.

I hear ya Troy  :smt002  Hopefully the wind doesn't get too bad, but it's just started to blow a bit up here.  I'm going to expect to be out of power in the next few hours.  Off to get that ICE to keep our food from spoiling! If it goes out for a few days, going to be handing out the rest of my WSB stockpile  :smt005

Be careful out there, Al! I had a good friend who lived in BC back in the 80's - man his place could get hammered.  What am I saying? I've got redwoods  that drop big stuff every year, too. If I were closer, I'd volunteer to bring you ice and dig ditches for a chance at some of the WSB.   :smt003

Got my last ab dive in as the sun was setting at Van Damme last night.  :smt001

It's going to be nasty for the remainder of the season.

Al, ya need a generator!  Something to keep fridge going, maybe the TV.
I'm at my new office space (On Zanker Rd) and the wind is just now starting to wind up.

Wind and rain in Auburn/weimar... Still fairly light. Radar shows heavy coming in 4-5pm. Gonna sit next to the wood stove and read tonight. We never seem to loose power for very long. Got generators if it does. Be careful out there and call someone for help if you need it... Don't tough it out. Water for the fish :smt007
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

All hell just broke loose here in Watsonville. I have big glass windows in my office. Full on view of the trees going crazy in the howling wind and rain.

Kinda scary...I think I'm far enough away that if any fell they wouldn't hit me....

Sincerely,

Jim
