Hello all...

Rather than post when I have new stuff, I am posting a link to my new "virtual store" thru Etsy.  You can access it a few ways:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/PerrymanWoodworking?ref=search_shop_redirect

or scan the image with your smartphone

A portion of your purchase price will be donation to the 'Team in Training' funraising efforts for those affected with blood related cancers.  The need for finding a cure is huge and I want to do my part to help!

Please be sure to check back often as my inventory is growing daily aas I post new items and offerings to the shop.  All of these items are hand-crafted by me here at my workshop in the Monterey Bay area.

   Thanks for checking in!

~Bill

Have some CRAZY woodcraft ideas for this Winter that involve some lingcod and eel skins!  Hopefully I will start tinkering with these ideas in the weeks to come.

Cool, a fellow turner.  I stopped turning a couple years ago but still have my lathe and some tools.  I've been meaning to make some wood chips fly.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Winter is my favorite time to make chips fly!  I have a hard time with the finishes when the temps drop but that's another beast in itself.  I have some fun winter project ideas that I hope to put into action once the wood cures a bit more.  I'm always on the hunt for a fellow turner to learn more from!

Adding new stuff to the shop this evening.  Here's a small preview of a few new pieces I worked on over the weekend to complete.

Thanks for the great feedback, comments and ideas!  Your help to raise money for the TnT Cancer efforts are MUCH appreciated!!!!

I received my order today... I bought the 2 in 1 wine stopper and a bottle opener.

The craftmanship is excellent.  They're very nice pieces that I'll use when I'm in the mood to be fancy.  :smt003

Thanks again!

Judging by my stats on Etsy ... about half of my traffic is generated by NCKA members!  A HUGE thanks goes out to all of you who support and inprite my work!

I have a project in works that I wanted to share...  a hand-turned 12oz mug from a piece of mahogany that I acquired from a 1950's/60's erra salvaged sailboat.  It is wrapped with dried Lingcod skin that BigJim gratiousely shot and donated to me.  Mind you, this is still a work in progress and I have the handle to complete (in works this evening) and a LOT of Lacquer work to be done.  My test samples have proven it should work out well and look fantastic .... I hope.  I will keep posting pictures as it comes along but I thought I'd share what I have learned/created so far!

   Thanks!
