Ncka Education

I'm very new here and I feel very welcomed.everyone that I met so far and all the questions I posted everyone didn't hesitate to help.I havn't been able to make to many gatherings cause my wife works on the weekend but from the pics and videos it looks like everyone was having great time.words on a screen can get misread and the intention of the message can get taken in the wrong way.I wouldn't worry about it to much your not gonna be able to please everyone.the only reason I wouldn't bring my family to gatherings is cause I want some me time to do my thing.

My apologies if my post gave the wrong impression.

I was just trying to say what my feeling was after reading all those pages (from a newbie perspective).  Just an impression it left me with and not my judgement since I have never experienced anything negative associated with NCKA.
Its all good folks....no worries.
I would still jump at the chance to fish with anyone on here.  The "large group" comment was not negative I just get closed in feeling and that's my issue/problem/lifestyle...whatever.
Eric, I hope to meet you some day and thanks for your post. As always you are a great ambassador of this sport/hobby/pastime/obsession as are many here.
Rockhopper, was not singling you out and hope to meet you and your "core" as well.
I know we can discuss or disagree and still have a good day OTW.

Right on Crawfish. NCKA gatherings, whether large or small, are ALWAYS a blast.

Anyone who was offended by the "core" comments I made should just ask any of the new people at Spike's tournament this past weekend how they were treated.

And if it bothered you that much then you can avoid me and my "core" group of friends....but why anybody thinks that my bad attitude towards overly thenthitive people is the same view shared by all of NCKA is beyond me.

I am not NCKA and nowhere in any of my posts did I say I represented the thoughts of any NCKA member other than my own.

I just hooked up with 5 NCKA memebers for a dive and chill.

I shot 2 olives, 4 blues, 2 kelpies, 1 grassy, 1 cabezon, and 1 Rubberlip in the head.

I drank several beers in the parking lot.

I feel much better!!

I love NCKA!

NCKA is the nicest group of people I WILL ever meet. I have never known that such a good group could exist. Newbs shouldn't feel that they can't come to events for fear of whatever..... Events are the funnest and most community rich times of my life. You WILL laugh, you WILL meet a ton of great people. you WILL eat lots of great food. People WILL drink and people WILL burn. They WILL Never intentionally upset you. They WILL Do whatever it takes to make sure no one is uncomfortable. But they WILL not be told what to and when to do it(except from WAF)  They WILL never Disrespect anyone. They WILL never Turn away a newb. They WILL also give you the shirt of their backs and WILL pull you out of the ocean. They WILL paddle as fast as they can toward Where a GWS just attacked. And you WILL do the same for them. Everybody WILL always have that sense of camaraderie.  I WILL Never leave this group. I always have and always WILL respect others space and family. That WILL never even be an issue. There WILL be blood, and we WILL catch fish. If you wish to choose to judge people based on a bad post and assume that NCKA is not worthy of you it WILL be one of your biggest mistakes ever. Now WILL someone shut me up and give me fishing pole!

This should be NCKA pledge don't ya think.
