They beach themselves for A reason??.. Maybe it didnt want help? Why didnt it swim off to deeper water??

It would be hard to let it sit on the beach and die. I would have done the same.....but may have included a swift kick to the tail  :smt002

Around here we sometimes see juvenile salmon sharks beached. I don't know if sharks are impacted by domoic acid poisoning like mammals are, but maybe?

I agree, it would be tough to just leave it to die. I don't even like seeing the fish on my gameclip gasping.

I wouldn't like to see a GWS  dying on the beach but i would be dammed if i would try to save it, my luck i would come back with a stump.
