Crabbing for a Cause!! Dec 7 2013

Pacific Outfitters Fifth Kayak fishing(crabbing) Tournament!! Proceeds go to support Humboldt Veterans Standdown!!
Starting to work on this one! Gonna raffle off a trident 15 at this event! Got Scotty, Promar, Lost Coast Brewery, B2 Squid on board so far! Working on Go Pro and Thule now. Its gonna be big and donations of some of the crabs caught will go to a crab feed at the Eureka Veterans Hall for the local Veterans! Help out with a good cause! $25 donation to enter!! I will attach forms later in the week!!

Is there a reason why none of the Pacific Outfitters posts have any information with them about the events?  At least a date and location would be nice.  Or is there some where else I should be looking?

I was locking in the dates on the NCKA calander. If you look at the main one for the series all the dates are there  I have also added them to each event.This event is at Trinidad on the 7th of December 2013. I will have one this year on Dec the 8th. I had to lock the dates for the sponsors to get it into their Budget before November.

Starting to work on this one! Its gonna be a blast and for a great cause!!

Do we have to donate all of our crabs?  I am not opposed to entry fee and donation of crab for a good cause however as sole food provider for myself, I would like to take some crab home with me.

Of course you can keep the crabs if you want but any donation is appreciated. Last year most gave up crabs and kept a few. you can also join us with the vets and eat crabs and enjoy the group! I will change the listing to donations are appreciated.

Sails allowed????

If you want to use a sail you can but I went out with my AI last year with amas and no sail and had a blast. You don't even have to go around the head! Good crabbing on the inside by Prisioner rock!

Thanks Jim, Its a great cause and without them I wouldn't have the help with my medical issues.they have helped me a lot and I try to help whenever I can!

I'm going to try and make it. Good cause maybe even get to hang with some fellow vets.
