Crabbing for a Cause!! Dec 7 2013

I'm going to try and make it. Good cause maybe even get to hang with some fellow vets.

If you come to the feed afterwards you will meet a lot of the local vets. I will be advertizing it at there fundraiser dinner next month and auctioning off a couple guided trips to raise more money for them. The veterans hospital has helped me a lot and I want to help them with funding any way I can.

Got the Beer setup for the event! Got the Coffee! Locked in the Veterans hall for the crabfeed! Scotty is sending products, Promar is sending products, B2 squid is making a gift basket, Bending branches send goods, Stohlquest sent goods, starting the paperwork side this week! We will be doing rootbeer floats again at this event since it went so good at rockfish wars! Donated a trip last Thursday for an auction and raised $1,900 for the standdown! We are on to a good start!!!

Man two crab events one at the end of this yr yours and crabfest the next month down south...Im all in for this one...cant wait till Dec to do some Crabbing for A Cause!!! Cajun count me in.. all your other events conflicted with work but Not this Time!!!

I can't wait for this one, I will be there with one and maybe both of my boys!!!! It's hard to pull them away from their girlfriends to spend time with Dad !!!

Greg, any chance you could post that sign-up link?  It's going to be a tight squeeze to make this event but I think I can pull it off.  Looking forward to getting on the salt for a day!

I will be accepting entries the day of the event all morning for anyone wanting to show up. Got a good numbers so far and getting more in daily. Sorry i haven't been that active but I have been dealing with family emergencies and my personal medical issues with the VA. This is an important charity to me since they helped me get my medical needs taken care of. Thanks to the stand down I now have full medical for life due to injuries during military service. any donation or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Be careful out here it is looking pretty nasty on Saturday! Good luck to all who head out.

Got good prizes but its all about the cause. Come join us. Got a fair number of vets showing up for the crab feed. First prize is a cobra 6 watt VHF radio, or Bending branches angler ace, gonna raffle off a predator 13 and, many other prizes from B2 squid, promar, keen shoes, gift cards for Cheri Heights Casino, and many others! Coffee and donuts at launch, beer and rootbeer after, lots of fun for a great cause!!
