Levitt lake I gotta get there

I stole this pic from a friend who was there hiking.I used to fish this lake as a kid all pan size brookys but an amazing place to go.Its just over Sonora pass on hwy 108 on the east side and 3 miles back on a real bad road.you can drive right up to the water and dry camping is allowed just know it can get really windy

This make me want to scan a bunch of oldschool photos from that area! I used to do a 4x trip there every summer then make daytrips to koenig, latopie, ski lakes etc. Ski lake is guaranteed golden trout every time. I would love to hit this place w/the yak. It's the first place I took my wife camping...and it went from sunny 85* to hailstorm in minutes! Crazy weather up there on top of Sonora pass!
