Hello Everyone,

My names is James Pratt and I am 42 and have three kids 20, 18, & 11 who are my pride and joy. I am also a newlywed to Heidi my beautiful wife.

I have done some recreational kayaking in the past and have been fishing since I was a child. It wasn't until I got married August 4th up at Shelter Cove that I tried yak fishing with my new wife. It was an awesome day and I was hooked. Soon after we got home I got my first yak.

I have been checking out a lot of the posts for awhile and am excited to get out and try some of the Derby's this next year. I am also interested in learning fishing techniques specific to yak fishing. I think it's amazing how active the members of this site are. It seems there are a lot of opportunities to hookup and fish n chill.

I would post some pic but I can't seem to make that happen using my iPhone.

I know its about an hour away, but the Headwaters Fishing team is hosting a free clinic on River fishing for Salmon next Wednesday at 6:00PM, followed by a hookup on the AR on the 29th. Your welcome to join us.

We will also have a few other clinics go on throughout the year like, Gear management, Clothing clinics, Steelhead river fishing, and Crabbing from your kayak. Keep an eye in the hookup section for dates to come. Welcome to the madness!

Welcome Rider.

As far as posting pics, you can follow Mike's instructions.  Another way you can do it is to just connect your Iphone to your computer and drag the pics onto your computer and then just attach them in the post.  Or you can just email the pic to yourself and download it onto your computer.

Hope to see you on the water sometime.
