Yeah grabbed the Ling print t shirt.  Looks pretty cool. Hope sizing is good. Got a couple of Promar TR101's. Need to find regs because I think the openings may not be right size??  Two traps enough?

Sweet! The Promar TR101's will need to be modified to be legal. There are some people who have fixed theirs and I am sure they willl chime in or do a search to see what they did. The best option for Promars in that style is the 102W which is alreadt leagal. Two traps will work fine. There were some people who just had one for crabfest and they did great. For Crabfest only 4 traps max will be allowed, but I will post that soon with all the rules.

For anyone else who is a reservist, the Coast Guard Station at Two Rock has rooms at reasonable rates.  GF and I just stayed there this weekend and it was $40 a night (price is determined by pay grade).  It is about 15-20 minutes away.

Nice area knowledge Squidder! Too bad a tsunami came in and wiped the place out. Oh and the red tide. No crabs.

Just made my reservations, my wife Kathy, our 2 kitties and myself will be in site 75 in our Fleetwood Storm rv.  I look forward to meeting, fishing, and crabbing with everyone.  We will be there Friday thru Monday. 

I will need to use one of the kayaks, I hope to have mine before then though.

James thats a good question, for this year sails are allowed if they are on kayaks, there was one AI out there last year . If it seems like its an advantage then I will look into changing the rules next year.

Depends on the type of traps you are using; HobieDave carries 3 Danielson Square Pots (2 in the rear, 1 in the front), I carry all 4 of my collapsible Promars on the back of my Revo.

However, the  for the Crab Tourny is 4 traps...
