Just got the great news that Eddyline kayaks will be sponsoring Crabfest this year. They will be donating a brand new Caribbean 12 kayak with The Headwaters kayak shop. I have never been to crabbiest. How does it work by weight or all the people who limit get in a drawing?

Last year it was widest accross the back.

so is the kayak going to be to the first place guy or a raffle prize?  Its kind of a luck of the draw thing either way.

The Kayak will be a raffle, anyone that participates in the tournament will be entered to win the kayak.

We are planning to do another PIF raffle, we are still working on getting items for that. Prize donations are always accepted if anybody has anything they would like to give for that.

Crab measurement will be the same of last year. It only take one crab to win the event.

For those who are interested in working on rescues and skills we will be offering a free clinic on Saturday AM the day before the tournament. Here are the details.
