Is this a "puff free" event?

What happens at the campsites, and in peoples cars is up to them, but the event area itself is not the place to smoke. There will be lots of families and little kids. Last year it was not a problem. Everyone was discrete and enjoyed themselves without encroaching on the family friendly environment. Thanks for asking the question

I'm wondering how many pots I should start off with in my Revo 13? Is 2 ok?

Depends on the type of traps you are using; HobieDave carries 3 Danielson Square Pots (2 in the rear, 1 in the front), I carry all 4 of my collapsible Promars on the back of my Revo.

However, the  for the Crab Tourny is 4 traps...

Here's how I transport them:

Awesome. I'll most likely be dropping Promars. Thanks!

Just in case you haven't booked a site for Crabfest 2013 here is the link again:

The Jetty Campground is already booked and it looks like the other spots are booking up also.

G-Whiz, how do you like those round collapisble pro-mar's?  I saw them the other day, and I wondered how well they open and close when you are on the water.

They serve my purpose for kayak crabbing... they transport well, because they are low profile when collapsed. they supposing fish well because they have four doors. They have enough weight to them so hopefully they don't walk too much. but They tend to be a be-ache trying to get the crabs out  because of the netting; but that's to be expected.

So far no complaints...

If I wasn't to lazy to collapse and expand Danielson pots, I would use them as my first choice...but I don't like carry them fully opened; takes to much space...
