Hi Pat,  I'll take three.  I tried a quick and dirty zip tie with scotty mounts this weekend at Stump.   By the end of the day, they were parallel to the water surface.  I was lucky I didn't loose a rod.

V1 is for 2009 down and the V2 is  2010 up, they have different crossbars. The cut of the bracket will be different.

OK I was impressed with the FF mount...But holy cow Pat! I got the rod holders in the mail and did the install. I cannot express how great they are. As a total garage HACK these are amazing! The price could honestly double and they would be worth it. I know this is just a hobby Pat but the local retailers, Hook1, Austin Kayak, and the other retailers should stock these. I will happily be your SALESMAN!

Thanks again Pat...Check is on the way!

They are the best mounts out there and reasonably priced IMHO. I would troll for tuna or marlin with them. I couldn't say that for anything I built from PVC which is why I went with them.

I am sure pat will post it up. There isn't much to them...a plate and a few hose clamps. But the fit and finish is flawless. When I make stuff i get rushed and excited to finish and the final product suffers.
